Welcome to Home Instead Senior Care Cheltenham and Cotswolds.
Amanda Hamer set up Home Instead Senior Care for her area of Gloucestershire, because she is passionate about helping people to stay in their own homes for as long as possible. With many people living longer, quality of life becomes key and our aim is to make those later years as comfortable, stimulating and enjoyable as they can be.
Our office is based in beautiful Cotswolds countryside at Colesbourne, just outside Cheltenham and our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care on a completely individual basis. Our goal is for you to see us as trusted companions and an extension of your family, whether we are accompanying you to social events, helping you with light housekeeping or assisting you with personal care needs.
Our minimum call is one hour as we believe that quality care cannot be provided in anything less. From assistance with shopping to a day out fishing, and from help preparing meals to assistance with bathing and dressing, our CAREGivers are here to respond to your needs up to 24 hours a day.
We choose our CAREGivers for their empathy, compassion and reliability and we also look at their particular interests so that we can carefully match our clients and CAREGivers one to one. We are uncompromising in our insistence on six references for each CAREGiver who joins our team and all are fully trained by Home Instead to ensure they have the specific skills and approach we require. Our CAREGivers don't wear a uniform or have marked cars, this is for our Client's safety and peace of mind.

The caregivers who work for this company are outstanding and go the extra mile even to the detriment of themselves. The management have a problem communicating with each other and is even worse with the client. When changes occur which is inevitable they are not passed to the caregiver or client. A lot of office changes have occurred in the last year to address issues raised. The changes have had no effect as they didn't address the route cause of the problem, accepting you have a problem and putting measures in place to improve the situation. Their slogan to us it's personal takes on a whole new meaning as they take positive criticism personally. This week they have dropped a number of local authority funded clients with 3 days notice, not the caring company they portray
